A Message From Haley Residential

With recent increases in Covid-19 infections, we respectfully ask that all residents monitor themselves for signs or symptoms of Covid-19, notify management if you test positive, and self-isolate, if applicable.  Please ensure you keep a distance of 6 feet whenever possible in common areas like laundry rooms, elevators, and stairways and wear a mask or facial covering to keep yourself and others safe.  If you do test positive for Covid-19, we wish you a quick recovery as you focus on your health and self-isolate.  Please refrain from coming into the leasing office until your symptoms have passed and your healthcare provider releases you from self-isolation and/or quarantine.  In addition, the CDC offers isolation guidance you may read HERE

We want to do everything possible in an operational sense to minimize transmission and follow best practices to prevent the spread of this virus.  Therefore, going forward, additional protocol are in place for staff conduct.

  • Clear communication.  Members of our maintenance team will ask you a series of questions, including the following:
    • Are you being quarantined?
    • Are you caring for someone that is being quarantined?
    • Do you have any symptoms related to COVID-19?
  • Social Distancing.  Team members will ask that you move to another part of the home while maintenance work is being completed.  This ensures a safe distance is achieved.
  • Stringent Cleaning Protocol.  Maintenance team members will wipe down all surfaces and tools they have worked on, and will take care to only bring the tools necessary to complete the job into your home.

As you know, the safety of our residents and staff is of the utmost importance.  That said, we are also obligated to respect the privacy of our residents as well as the privacy of staff members.  Accordingly, to comply with federal, state and local privacy laws, we cannot disclose any specific resident’s medical condition nor can we disclose an employee’s medical condition or disclose any other information allowing anyone to identify any individual who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or may have been exposed to COVID-19.

As we emphasized in our earlier letter to residents, we must all take care of each other and be vigilant good neighbors. We will continue to do our part to safeguard the health and well-being of our residents by continuing to wash hands frequently, disinfect commonly touched surfaces and practice social distancing and we ask you to do your part in safeguarding the health and well-being of our community by following the protocols recommended by the CDC and by being understanding, kind and considerate in this stressful time.

Please contact us should you have any further questions.
